GUIBAO MS558 window and door sealant is specially formulated for

1. Perimeter seal for aluminum, PVC, wood, steel and other windows and doors
2. Used to seal the joints between doors & windows and walls

Storage and Shelf Life
GUIBAO MS558 should be stored in original unopened containers. It has a shelf life of 9 months from the date of manufacture.

Surface Preparation
Clean all joints removing all foreign matter and contaminants such as oil, grease, dust, water, frost, surface dirt, protective coatings.
Application Method
Install back-up materials or joint fillers, setting blocks, spacer shims, and tapes. Mask areas adjacent to joints to ensure neat sealant lines.
Apply GUIBAO MS558 in a continuous operation using dispensing guns. Before a skin forms, tool the sealant with light pressure to spread the sealant against the backing materials and joint surfaces. Remove masking tape as soon as the bead is tooled.
Limitations
GUIBAO MS558 should not be applied:

1. As structural sealant.
2. To the materials that bleed oils , plasticizers or solvents, such as impregnated wood, oil-based caulks.
3. In totally confined spaces as sealant requires atmospheric moisture for cure.
4. To frost laden or damp surfaces.
5. For continuous water immersion.
6. When surface temperature below 4ºC or over 50ºC.

Safety Information

1. GUIBAO MS558 is a chemical product, not edible, no implantation into body and should be kept away from children.
2. Cured sealant can be handled without any risk to health.
3. Should uncured sealant contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical treatment if irritation persists.
4. Avoid prolonged exposure of skin to uncured sealant.
5. Good ventilation is necessary for work and cure places.
